Template questions

Are these templates legal advice?

No. They are general samples written by Lotably, which is not a law firm. Parking, towing, booting, notice, and debt collection laws vary by state, county, and city, so have an attorney licensed where you operate review and adapt any template before you use it.

Can I use and edit them for my business?

Yes. You may download, edit, and use them for your own parking operation or association, at no cost, after your attorney reviews them. Please don’t resell them or present them as legal advice to others.

Do I have to use Lotably to use the templates?

No. They work with any enforcement setup. If you do run on Lotably, citations already carry the notice details, photos, payment link, and contest page these templates describe.

Does the towing sign spec sheet cover every state?

No. It lists sign rules for Maryland, Florida, Texas, California, Georgia, Ohio, and Illinois, each with a link to the statute so you can read the current text. Other states and many cities have their own rules, so check with your attorney and local officials before you order signs.

Where can the booting notice be used?

Booting on private property is restricted or banned in some states and cities, and others require a license, specific signs, a fee cap, or a release deadline. Have an attorney licensed where the property is review it first.
