Can people apply for monthly parking online?
Yes. Turn on online applications, choose the plans and documents to request, and set monthly spots per lot. Staff can approve, decline, or waitlist applicants. When a counted spot opens, the next applicant receives an offer held for 72 hours. Approval creates the permit; it starts after the first payment or a staff action, depending on the payment arrangement.
Can nearby businesses validate customer parking?
Yes. Add a merchant, choose its lots and free-time limit, and send its sign-in link. The merchant issues single-use validation codes or QR links. Drivers get the validated time free and can buy eligible extra time. Validations use same-day, fixed-duration parking; they do not combine with promo codes, advance bookings, or event parking. Monthly statements and merchant invoices are available.
What hardware do officers need?
Standard phones or tablets work out of the box; add a mobile printer if you want printed slips. There is no proprietary hardware to buy.
How fast can a lot go live?
Sign up online and set up the same day. You add your lots, officers, Stripe payouts, passes, and parker imports from a built-in go-live checklist, your permit roster loads by CSV, and your account is live as soon as you sign up.
We already have pay stations. Do they work with Lotably?
Yes. Lotably syncs paid sessions from Parking BOXX and ParkMobile today, supports manual or CSV session import for any other vendor, and when a vendor offers an API, Lotably builds the connection at no extra cost (the vendor may charge for API access).
Where does the money go?
Directly to your own Stripe account via Stripe Connect. Lotably charges 12% per payment collected online on the Free plan ($0/month) or 5% on Starter ($99/month), and on a daily parking session that percentage or at most 35¢ (Free) or 25¢ (Starter), whichever is less; Stripe processing fees are separate.
