ParkMobile is a driver app for paying for parking. Lotably runs the whole lot: enforcement, citations, permits, guest passes, and daily parking, with no fees added for drivers.

The short answer

ParkMobile is a parking payment platform: drivers use it to pay for parking, and its help center says they may be charged a transaction fee per session and per extension, depending on where they park. Lotably is the operating system for the whole lot. Drivers pay by QR code with nothing added to your price, and the same system scans plates, issues and collects citations, and runs permits, guest passes, towing, and booting. You can sign up online and set up the same day.

What ParkMobile is

Part of Arrive (formerly EasyPark Group), which also owns Flowbird and Passport. EasyPark Group acquired ParkMobile in 2021 and renamed itself Arrive in 2025.

ParkMobile runs a consumer app and website that drivers use to pay for on-street and off-street parking by zone, reserve spaces ahead of time (including for events), and pay automatically at garages with license plate cameras. It says it serves more than 600 municipalities and that it processes more than 12 million transactions a month for parking operators.

For parking providers, ParkMobile offers a dashboard, rate and inventory management, reservations, and payment processing, and it connects to existing meters, kiosks, gate systems, and more than 40 enforcement vendors. A citation-issuing product isn’t described on its website: officers check ParkMobile sessions on their own enforcement devices, and the operator issues and handles tickets. EasyPark Group bought ParkMobile in 2021, and the group renamed itself Arrive in 2025.

Where Lotably is different

One system instead of a payment app plus an enforcement tool
ParkMobile’s provider pages cover payments, reservations, and parking data, and connect to outside enforcement vendors for ticketing. Lotably includes enforcement: scan a plate from any phone, see roster and paid-session status, and issue a photo-evidence citation the driver can pay by QR code in about 30 seconds.
No fees added for drivers
ParkMobile’s help center says drivers may pay a transaction fee per session and per extension, set by location. Its location articles list fees such as $0.35 in Providence, Rhode Island, and $0.40 at the Philadelphia Parking Authority. On Lotably, drivers pay exactly the price you post unless you ask us to add a service fee.

ParkMobile doesn’t publish provider pricing or contract terms. Lotably’s pricing is on the website: Free at $0 a month plus 12% of online payments for up to 2 lots, or Starter at $99 a month for up to 25 lots, plus 5%. On daily parking, Lotably takes the percentage or a flat 35¢ (Free) or 25¢ (Starter) a session, whichever is less. Both plans are month to month.
Money lands in your own Stripe account
ParkMobile’s site describes a merchant-of-record option, where ParkMobile handles payment processing, as well as transfers to an operator’s merchant account. Every Lotably payment is a direct charge on your own Stripe account.
Permits, guest passes, towing, and booting included
A permit-management product page isn’t on ParkMobile’s website, and towing and booting aren’t described. Every Lotably plan includes monthly permits with autopay, resident guest passes, and tow and boot records with one-tap calls to your tow company.

When ParkMobile may be the better fit

If your city or garage wants drivers to pay through an app that millions of people already use, ParkMobile’s reach is a real advantage; it said it passed 50 million users in 2023. It also handles advance reservations, pre-sold event parking, and automatic payment at camera-equipped garages. Lotably covers part of that: drivers can book a daily pass, or an event day, ahead on the lot’s pay page, but there’s no consumer app or marketplace (drivers pay on the web) and no gates, meters, or cameras. Lotably is the better fit when you run the lots yourself and want enforcement, permits, and payments in one system without driver fees.

Switching, or running both

You don’t have to switch everything at once. You can keep your current payment app running while you start Lotably on one lot: print a QR poster, import your monthly roster by CSV, and connect your ParkMobile account so drivers who already paid in the app aren’t ticketed. Sessions from other vendors can be added by CSV or by hand. When a vendor offers API access to its session data, we build that connection at no extra cost (the vendor may charge for API access).

Is Lotably a good alternative to ParkMobile?

Yes, if you run your own lots and want more than payments. Lotably collects daily parking by QR code with no driver fees, and the same system handles plate enforcement, citations, monthly permits, guest passes, towing, and booting. If you mainly need a widely used driver app with reservations and pre-sold event parking, ParkMobile does that; Lotably lets drivers book a day ahead on the web, but it has no app.
