Pay-by-plate

Pay-by-plate is a paid parking model in which the driver enters their license plate when paying, and the plate becomes the identifier for the parking session. There is no dashboard receipt or hangtag to display. Enforcement scans or types the plate and checks it against active paid sessions for that lot.
