Property owner authorization

A property owner authorization is the written agreement in which a property owner or its agent permits an enforcement company or tow company to enforce parking rules on the property. It typically names the property, the rules and remedies allowed (citations, booting, towing), who may request a tow, and how revenue is handled. Some state towing laws require a current written authorization before a non-consensual tow from private property.
