Photo evidence

Photo evidence is the set of time-stamped pictures an officer takes when issuing a citation, typically the plate, the vehicle in its position, and the sign or condition that shows the violation. Photos attached to the citation let the driver see what happened and let a reviewer decide an appeal on the facts. Location data and an unaltered original timestamp make the photos harder to dispute.
