Virtual permit

A virtual permit is a parking permit tied to a license plate in a database instead of a physical hangtag or sticker. Enforcement confirms it by scanning or entering the plate. Virtual permits cannot be lost, copied, or handed to another car, and they can be issued, changed, or revoked online without mailing anything.
