Validation (parking validation)

Parking validation is when a business pays for or discounts a customer’s parking, usually as a perk for shopping, dining, an appointment, or a hotel stay. The business once stamped a garage ticket; digital validation applies a code, a QR scan, or an entry tied to the plate so the session is free or reduced. Under its agreement with the operator, the business is often billed for the validations it issues.
