Why the 5% only applies to online payments
The percentage fee applies to citations actually paid online through the platform, not to citations issued. If a citation never gets paid, you owe nothing on it. That aligns our incentives with yours: Lotably only earns the variable fee when you collect. The fixed $99 covers the platform itself, the officer app, pay portal, admin, and your branded workspace.
What to compare against a quote
When another vendor quotes you, put the numbers side by side on the same basis: total monthly cost at your citation volume, any per-citation or percentage fees, hardware you have to buy, setup and onboarding charges, and, critically, where the money settles.
