The short answer
Parkkr and Lotably both start at $0 a month and earn a share of what you collect, so the difference is the size of the share and what comes with it. Parkkr keeps 20% of every transaction and runs through its app for parkers and managers. Lotably takes 12% on Free or 5% on Starter, puts payments straight into your own Stripe account, and lets drivers pay citations and daily parking from a QR code without an app.
What Parkkr is
Run by Parkkr LLC. Its site does not list a city or address.
Parkkr is a parking app for residential and commercial lots, built for apartment buildings, condos, HOAs, offices, medical campuses, and mobile home parks. Parkers download the app (iOS, Android, or web) for free, register their vehicles, apply for monthly or temporary permits, and start a guest permit by entering the lot number posted on the lot signs. Managers approve permits with one tap, set hourly, flat, or monthly rates, and watch revenue, occupancy, and violation counts on a live dashboard.
Enforcement runs through the app: reps scan plates, issue warnings or violations with photos, or escalate to a tow, with no gates, cameras, or kiosks. Drivers pay violations in the app, and its App Store listing mentions prompt-pay discounts and Stripe payments with automatic payout routing. Pricing is $0 a month with no setup fees or contracts; Parkkr keeps 20% of every transaction, and standard card processing (2.9% + $0.30) comes out of the manager’s 80%.
Where Lotably is different
A smaller cut of what you collect
Parkkr keeps 20% of every permit, parking, and violation payment, and card processing also comes out of your 80%; on a $50 permit Parkkr says you net about $38.25. Lotably’s Free plan takes 12% of online payments, and Starter takes 5% for $99 a month, which costs less than a 20% share once you collect about $660 a month online.
A daily parking fee capped per session
Parkkr’s 20% applies to hourly and flat-rate parking too. On Lotably, a daily parking session costs you the plan percentage or at most 35¢ (Free) or 25¢ (Starter), whichever is less.
Drivers pay without an app
Parkkr’s parkers and guests work through its app or web app. A Lotably driver scans the QR code on a ticket or lot poster, or enters a plate or ticket number, and pays in about 30 seconds with an email receipt, no account needed.
Your own Stripe account, your own brand
Parkkr routes payouts through Stripe from its own platform, and the app parkers see is Parkkr’s. Lotably payments are direct charges on your own Stripe account, and the platform is white-label, so drivers see your name.
Escalating fines, contests, and tow records
Parkkr covers warnings, violations with photos, and escalation to tow. Lotably adds escalating fines, an online contest and appeal flow, and tow and boot records with a one-tap call to your tow company (off until you ask; Lotably does not check whether they’re allowed where you enforce, and you assume all risk of using them).

When Parkkr may be the better fit
If you collect little online, want unlimited lots on a $0 plan, and are happy for every parker to use one shared app, Parkkr is simple to try: download it, apply for manager access, and start. Lotably’s Free plan covers up to 2 lots, so a manager with many small lots and very low collections may prefer Parkkr’s model.
Switching, or running both
Export your permit holders and vehicles from Parkkr, import them into Lotably by CSV, and send residents a link to their new portal. Post a QR poster at each lot for daily parking. Parkkr says it has no contracts, so you can run both for a billing cycle while parkers move over.

What every Lotably plan includes
Month to month, no lock-in
No annual contract and no multi-year commitment on Free or Starter. Cancel anytime.
Sign up yourself, set up the same day
Create your account online, add your lots, and connect Stripe in one sitting. You’re live as soon as you sign up.
Every feature on every plan
Enforcement, daily and event parking, monthly applications and plans, billing, scheduled guest passes, merchant validations, dispute evidence, and reports. Some workflows need configuration or enabling. No add-on modules. Booting and towing start off until you ask; you are responsible for following the law where you enforce and assume all risk of using them.
Money lands in your own Stripe account
Payments are direct charges on your Stripe account. Lotably never holds your money or pays you out later.
No app fee for drivers
By default, drivers pay exactly the price you post. Our fee comes out of what you collect online, never from the driver. If you ask, we can add a flat service fee per parking session that goes to you.
Integrations built at no extra cost
Parking BOXX, ParkMobile, and manual/CSV sessions work today. When another vendor offers an API, we build the connection at no extra cost (the vendor may charge for API access).
Published pricing
Free is $0/month plus 12% of online payments. Starter is $99/month for up to 25 lots, plus 5%. Daily parking is at most 35¢ or 25¢ a session. No quote required.
Runs on the phone you have
Plate reading is built into the officer app, which runs in the browser. Daily parking needs a printed QR poster and nothing else.
Questions about Lotably and Parkkr
Is Lotably cheaper than Parkkr?
On transaction fees, yes. Parkkr keeps 20% of each payment, Lotably Free takes 12%, and Lotably Starter takes 5% for $99 a month, which beats a 20% share once you collect about $660 a month online. Daily parking sessions on Lotably are also capped at 35¢ (Free) or 25¢ (Starter).
Do drivers need an app with Lotably?
No. Drivers pay citations and daily parking by scanning a QR code or entering a plate or ticket number in the browser, in about 30 seconds. Residents manage permits and guest passes in a web portal.
Where does the money go?
With Lotably, every payment is a direct charge on your own Stripe account, so Lotably never holds it. Parkkr’s App Store listing says it uses Stripe with automatic payout routing to lot managers, after its 20% share.
Can Lotably handle towing?
Lotably does not tow, but officers can record a tow or boot and call your tow company in one tap from the officer app. Both start switched off, and Lotably turns them on when you ask. Lotably does not check whether booting or towing is allowed where you enforce: you are responsible for following the law, and you assume all risk of using them.
