Lotably vs. Register2Park

Register2Park lets guests register their vehicles at a property that a separate company enforces. Lotably gives the property or its operator the whole system: guest passes, enforcement, and payments.

The short answer

Register2Park is a guest registration site: visitors register their vehicles, and an independent towing or enforcement company does the enforcing. Lotably puts guest passes, resident permits, warnings, citations drivers pay online, and towing records in one system the property or its operator controls, with no fees added for guests or drivers.

What Register2Park is

Run by Your Enforcement Services, LLC, a Texas company that also makes ParkingSnap.

Register2Park is a cloud-based guest vehicle registration system. Visitors find the property on Register2Park.com or in the iOS or Android app and register their vehicle within the time, usage, and access limits the property sets, sometimes with an access code. Property management, security, and the property’s towing or enforcement company see registrations in real time.

Its operator, Your Enforcement Services, states that it does not tow or boot vehicles; enforcement is done by independent companies. An optional Pay2Park feature lets a property charge guests hourly, daily, or weekly rates, deposited to the property’s own Stripe or Square account. The same company sells ParkingSnap, enforcement software for tow and patrol companies, and says Register2Park has processed over 43 million guest registrations.

Where Lotably is different

  • Enforcement included, not handed off

Register2Park is registration only, and its terms say enforcement companies are not owned or operated by its parent. Lotably issues the warnings and citations in the same system that knows who registered, so there is no gap between the guest list and the person enforcing it.

  • No service fee for guests

Register2Park’s terms and Pay2Park page say guests pay a service fee on paid registrations, and the amount isn’t published. With Lotably, drivers and guests pay exactly the price you post unless you ask us to add a service fee.

  • Citations drivers pay online

Register2Park itself has no citation product. Lotably citations carry photo evidence and escalating fines, and drivers pay by QR, plate, or ticket number in about 30 seconds, straight to your Stripe account.

  • Residents control their guests

On Register2Park, guests register themselves within the property’s limits. On Lotably, residents issue time-limited guest passes from their own portal, capped by a quota you set, so every guest is tied to the resident who invited them.

  • Sign up yourself, with published pricing

Register2Park’s business pages offer “Schedule a Demo,” and ParkingSnap says it implements through your enforcement company. Lotably is self-serve with published pricing, and you can set up the same day.

When Register2Park may be the better fit

If your towing or enforcement company already supplies Register2Park and all you want is a place for guests to register online, it does that job and has a long registration history. Tow companies already running ParkingSnap get Register2Park in the same family of tools.

Switching, or running both

You can keep your towing partner. Import your resident roster by CSV, let residents issue guest passes from the portal, and have your staff or patrol partner scan plates in Lotably. When a vehicle has to go, the officer records the tow and puts your tow company one tap away from the app.

What every Lotably plan includes

  • Month to month, no lock-in

No annual contract and no multi-year commitment on Free or Starter. Cancel anytime.

  • Sign up yourself, set up the same day

Create your account online, add your lots, and connect Stripe in one sitting. You’re live as soon as you sign up.

  • Every feature on every plan

Enforcement, daily and event parking, monthly applications and plans, billing, scheduled guest passes, merchant validations, dispute evidence, and reports. Some workflows need configuration or enabling. No add-on modules. Booting and towing start off until you ask; you are responsible for following the law where you enforce and assume all risk of using them.

  • Money lands in your own Stripe account

Payments are direct charges on your Stripe account. Lotably never holds your money or pays you out later.

  • No app fee for drivers

By default, drivers pay exactly the price you post. Our fee comes out of what you collect online, never from the driver. If you ask, we can add a flat service fee per parking session that goes to you.

  • Integrations built at no extra cost

Parking BOXX, ParkMobile, and manual/CSV sessions work today. When another vendor offers an API, we build the connection at no extra cost (the vendor may charge for API access).

  • Published pricing

Free is $0/month plus 12% of online payments. Starter is $99/month for up to 25 lots, plus 5%. Daily parking is at most 35¢ or 25¢ a session. No quote required.

  • Runs on the phone you have

Plate reading is built into the officer app, which runs in the browser. Daily parking needs a printed QR poster and nothing else.

Questions about Lotably and Register2Park

Is Lotably a good alternative to Register2Park?

Yes, if you want guest parking and enforcement in one place. Lotably includes resident-issued guest passes, resident permits, warnings, citations drivers pay online, and towing records, so the guest list and the enforcement run in the same system. Signup is self-serve and month to month.

Do guests pay a fee with Lotably?

No. By default, guests and drivers pay exactly the price you post, and Lotably’s fee comes out of what you collect online. For comparison, Register2Park’s terms say guests pay a service fee on paid registrations.

Can we keep our towing company?

Yes. Lotably doesn’t tow, but officers can record a tow and call your tow company in one tap from the officer app, and the tow sits on the same plate record as any citations. Towing starts off: ask for it and Lotably turns it on. Lotably does not check whether towing is allowed where you enforce: you are responsible for following the law, and you assume all risk of using it.

Who does the enforcing with Lotably?

Whoever you choose: your own staff, a patrol company, or a parking operator. The officer app runs in the browser on any phone with plate reading built in, and per-user permissions control what each person can do.
