Audit log
An audit log is a permanent, time-stamped record of who did what in a system, such as issuing, voiding, or reducing a citation, changing a fine, or refunding a payment. Ordinary users cannot edit or delete entries. In parking enforcement, the audit log backs up decisions on appeals and disputes and helps owners spot unusual voids or refunds.
