Pay-to-park

Pay-to-park is short-term paid parking that a driver buys on the spot, by app, web page, text message, or pay station, for a specific vehicle and lot. Common rate types are hourly, flat daily, and event pricing. In lots that also enforce, the paid session is checked when an officer scans the plate, so a driver who paid is not cited.
