Campus & permit systems
Lotably vs. iParq
iParq is cloud permit, enforcement, event, and adjudication software for campuses and cities, sold through a sales conversation. Lotably is self-serve.
Facts about iParq checked October 2026. Sources at the bottom of the page.
The short answer
iParq is a long-running cloud platform for universities, cities, airports, and hospitals that covers permits (virtual and physical), enforcement with LPR and leased handhelds, event parking, online adjudication, and collections through a partner agency, with pricing quoted by its sales team. Lotably covers enforcement, permits, guest passes, and daily parking from officers’ phones, with published month-to-month pricing and same-day self-serve setup. Payments land directly in your own Stripe account, and drivers pay no added fees.
What iParq is
The iParq website’s copyright notice names iNet Inc.
iParq is cloud-based parking management software organized into five modules: permits, enforcement, events, adjudication, and collections. Its permits page lists cities, airports, universities, parking operators, hospitals, and stadiums as customers it serves, and says it handles virtual permits, physical decals and hangtags through an in-house fulfillment center, automated billing and cancellations, and a residential parking program for cities. Enforcement combines license plate recognition, handhelds offered on lease, citation lifecycle tracking, and citation notices sent by email or mail from its in-house mailing system.
iParq describes a “25 plus-year history,” and its site quotes the University of New Hampshire on a partnership of more than 23 years. It says one license covers all users, officers, and administrators. Adjudication runs online in what it calls a Virtual Court, with 95% of cases completed at the first step and escalation to a resolution coordinator or court for the rest, and past-due citations go to AWA, a licensed and bonded national collection agency. Guideflow’s August 2026 roundup of enforcement tools also describes e-chalking, photo evidence, and scofflaw controls with booting and towing triggers.
Where Lotably is different
Published pricing, no sales call
iParq doesn’t publish prices; its pages route buyers to a contact form or a call with an expert, and Guideflow’s roundup notes the same. Lotably’s prices are on the website, and the Free and Starter plans are month to month.
Same-day, self-serve setup
iParq’s site offers “Start Now” and “Talk to an Expert” buttons, and implementation timelines aren’t published. You can sign up for Lotably online, add your lots, rates, and parkers, and set up the same day.
Officers use their own phones
iParq offers handhelds with “flexible lease options.” Lotably’s officer app reads plates with the phone’s camera, so there is no hardware to buy or lease, and thermal printing from the phone is optional.
Money lands in your own Stripe account
iParq lists integrated payments and shows several payment processor logos, but where parker payments settle isn’t stated on its website. Every Lotably payment is a direct charge on your own Stripe account, and Lotably never holds the money.
Pay-to-park without an app
iParq integrates with pay stations and pay-by-cell apps and offers pay-in-lane sales for events. Lotably includes daily parking: print a QR poster for each lot and drivers pay on the web by the hour, for the rest of the day, until a set time, or at an event rate, with no app to download.

When iParq may be the better fit
iParq fits universities and cities that want one vendor for virtual and physical permits (with decals and hangtags fulfilled for them), citation notices mailed on their behalf, online adjudication that can escalate to a court, a collection agency partnership for past-due citations, and an event planning portal. Its track record runs more than 25 years by its own account. Lotably is newer and smaller, and it doesn’t fulfill physical permits, mail notices, or partner with a collection agency. It fits campuses, hospitals, and operators that want enforcement, permits, and payments running from phones this week on published pricing.
Switching, or running both
You can start Lotably on one lot or one permit group while iParq keeps running. Export your permit holders and import them into Lotably by CSV, print QR posters for visitor and daily parking, and add paid sessions from other vendors by CSV or by hand so officers see who already paid. When a vendor offers an API for session data, we build the connection at no extra cost (the vendor may charge for API access).

Month to month, no lock-in
No annual contract and no multi-year commitment on Free or Starter. Cancel anytime.
Sign up yourself, set up the same day
Create your account online, add your lots, and connect Stripe in one sitting. You’re live as soon as you sign up.
Every feature on every plan
Enforcement, daily and event parking, monthly applications and plans, billing, scheduled guest passes, merchant validations, dispute evidence, and reports. Some workflows need configuration or enabling. No add-on modules. Booting and towing start off until you ask; you are responsible for following the law where you enforce and assume all risk of using them.
Money lands in your own Stripe account
Payments are direct charges on your Stripe account. Lotably never holds your money or pays you out later.
No app fee for drivers
By default, drivers pay exactly the price you post. Our fee comes out of what you collect online, never from the driver. If you ask, we can add a flat service fee per parking session that goes to you.
Integrations built at no extra cost
Parking BOXX, ParkMobile, and manual/CSV sessions work today. When another vendor offers an API, we build the connection at no extra cost (the vendor may charge for API access).
Published pricing
Free is $0/month plus 12% of online payments. Starter is $99/month for up to 25 lots, plus 5%. Daily parking is at most 35¢ or 25¢ a session. No quote required.
Runs on the phone you have
Plate reading is built into the officer app, which runs in the browser. Daily parking needs a printed QR poster and nothing else.
Questions about Lotably and iParq
Is Lotably an alternative to iParq?
Yes, for campuses, hospitals, and operators that want to start quickly. Lotably runs enforcement, citations, monthly permits, guest passes, and daily parking in one system, and you can sign up online and set up the same day. iParq adds physical permit fulfillment, mailed notices, a Virtual Court for appeals, and collections through a partner agency.
How much does iParq cost?
iParq doesn’t publish pricing. As of October 2026 its product pages point buyers to a contact form or a call with an expert, and its handhelds are offered on lease. Lotably’s pricing is published: $0 a month plus 12% of online payments for up to two lots, or $99 a month plus 5% for up to 25 lots.
Do I need handheld devices to use Lotably?
No. Officers use the Lotably officer app on a phone, with plate reading built in, so there is no hardware to buy. Thermal printing from the phone is optional if you want paper tickets.
How do drivers appeal a Lotably citation?
Drivers contest a citation online from the same page where they pay it, using the ticket number, plate, or the QR code on the ticket. You can also issue warnings before citations if your program prefers that.
Who holds the money when drivers pay through Lotably?
You do. Payments run on Stripe Connect as direct charges to your own Stripe account, and Lotably never holds the funds. By default, drivers pay exactly the price you post, with no fee added on top.
