Connect your account
- 1Sign in to your admin and open the Dashboard.
- 2Find the card that says “Connect Stripe to take payments online” (the go-live checklist has a Connect Stripe button too).
- 3Click Connect Stripe. Stripe opens its own setup form.
- 4Enter your business, contact, and bank details. Stripe says it takes about 10 minutes.
- 5When you finish, Stripe sends you back to your dashboard, which shows where things stand.
Until Stripe is connected, drivers can’t pay tickets or buy passes online.
What the status card means
“Finish connecting Stripe” means Stripe still needs a few details. Click Continue Stripe setup to pick up where you left off.
“Stripe is checking your details” means you’ve sent everything. Payments switch on as soon as Stripe finishes checking, usually within minutes.
“Stripe has paused payments on your account” means Stripe needs something from you before drivers can pay online. Click Open Stripe to see what.
“Stripe is connected” means drivers can pay online and payments go to your Stripe account. The card then disappears from your dashboard.
If your Stripe link expired, the card says so. Just click the button again for a fresh one.
Where the money goes
Your Stripe account is your own: you own the relationship and use your own Stripe dashboard. Every online payment is a direct charge on your account, so it settles to you, not to Lotably.
Stripe pays out to your bank on your Stripe payout schedule, starting once Stripe has checked your bank details. Stripe’s processing fees are charged by Stripe on your account.
Lotably’s platform fee (12% on Free, 5% on Starter, and on a daily parking session at most 35¢ or 25¢) is taken automatically from each online payment as a Stripe application fee, so you never get a separate bill for it.
Common questions
Can I use a Stripe account I already have?
Lotably sets up a Stripe account for your business through Stripe’s own setup form. If you already use Stripe, Stripe may let you sign in with your existing login during setup, so follow its prompts.
Can I switch to a different Stripe account later?
Not from your admin. Contact Lotably if you need to change which Stripe account your payments go to.
What happens to Lotably’s fee if I refund a driver?
It comes back. When you refund all or part of a payment, or lose a chargeback, Lotably returns the matching share of its platform fee on that payment, so you don’t pay a fee on money you gave back.
Do drivers pay a convenience fee?
Not unless you ask for one. By default Lotably adds nothing to the price you set, and the platform fee comes out of what you collect. At your request, Lotably can turn on a flat driver service fee that drivers pay on top of each hourly, daily, overnight or event parking session. It goes to you with the payment and never applies to tickets, monthly parkers, passes that run to a date or, on accounts opened from October 23, 2026, passes sold for more than 31 days. Plan & account shows whether yours is on.
