Setting up daily and hourly parking rates

Open Parking → Pay-to-park rates, click Add rate, and choose how long the pass lasts and what it costs. Drivers can pay as soon as a lot has a rate and its QR poster is up.

Add a rate

  1. 1In your admin, open Parking → Pay-to-park rates.
  2. 2Click Add rate.
  3. 3Enter a Name drivers will recognize, like “2 hours” or “Overnight”, and a Price.
  4. 4Choose how long it Lasts (see the options below).
  5. 5Under Valid on, pick the days of the week the pass can be used.
  6. 6Optionally add a Description, shown to drivers under the name, like “Best for quick errands”.
  7. 7Under Where it’s sold, keep All lots checked or pick specific lots.
  8. 8Click Add rate. It goes on sale right away.

How long a pass lasts

A set length: a fixed number of hours or days from when the driver pays, like 2 hours. For a semester or yearly permit, choose Through a date instead.

The rest of the day: valid until midnight.

Until a set time (overnight): valid until a clock time you choose, like 7:00 AM.

Through a date (semester or term): valid through a date you choose, covering that whole last day. You can also set when the term starts, so a pass bought early starts on that day.

Limit when a rate can be bought

Under When it can be bought, set a From and Until time to sell a rate only during part of the day, for example an overnight pass sold from 17:00 to 04:00. The window can cross midnight. Leave both blank to sell any time.

To pause a rate, use Stop selling from its row. Start selling turns it back on.

Promo codes

  1. 1On the same page, find Promo codes.
  2. 2Enter the Code drivers will type, like SUMMER10.
  3. 3Choose the Discount type (Percent off or Amount off) and the amount.
  4. 4Choose which rate it’s For, or Any rate, and optionally limit the number of Uses.
  5. 5Click Create code.

A code’s discount can’t be changed. Turn it off and make a new one instead. To allow a code during event parking, enable Can be used on event rates; it is off by default. Merchant validations remain separate and cannot be combined with promo codes or event parking.

Full lots

To stop selling passes when a lot is full, open Settings → Policies and turn on “Stop selling passes when a lot is full.” When a lot’s monthly parkers plus unexpired passes reach its spaces (set on Lots), its QR page says “This lot is full” until a space frees up. Lots with 0 spaces never fill.

Booking a day ahead

Drivers can also buy a daily rate for a later day from the same QR page. See Letting drivers book a day ahead for how far ahead, cancellations, and the per-lot daily limit.

Common questions

Can I charge more for game days?

Yes. Use Event parking, which replaces your regular rates with one event rate between the times you set, then brings your regular rates back.

Do drivers pay any extra fee on top of my rate?

Not by default. Drivers pay exactly the price you set, and Lotably’s platform fee comes out of what you collect. If you ask, Lotably can turn on a flat driver service fee on each parking session (never on passes that run through a date or, on accounts opened from October 23, 2026, passes sold for more than 31 days). Plan & account shows whether yours is on.

Where do I see what sold?

Open Parking → Pay-to-park sales for every pass bought, by lot and plate.
